Biography
2015-16 (Sophomore):
Walton registered a strong sophomore campaign for the Buffs in 2015-16, seeing time in 27 contests with seven starts on the season as he averaged 24.2 minutes per game. Walton went 80-181 (44.2%) from the floor including 8-27 (29.6%) from behind the arc and 93-143 (65%) from the charity stripe to go along with 146 total rebounds (5.4/game). The Wisconsin native dished out 69 assists on the season to rank third on the team while leading the Buffs with 29 blocks to go along with 28 steals. Walton had a breakout game on February 3rd in Canyon as the sophomore went 6-9 from the floor including a perfect 14-14 from the free throw line to score a career high 27 points for the Buffs. Walton registered his first career double-double in Canyon against Lubbock Christian (Nov. 19) as he finished the game with 10 rebounds and 11 points.
At Madison Area Technical College:Â
Walton was no stranger to athletic honors in his first year at Madison Area Technical College. Walton was named a first-team North Central Community College Conference (N4C) member and a first-team NJCAA Region IV all-region athlete in his freshman season. He also picked up all-region tournament honors after helping the Wolfpack win 20 games en route to a successful and deep run into the national tournament. Walton averaged 16 points, 7.3 rebounds, 2.5 assists, 1.5 steals, and 1.5 blocks per game during his freshman campaign at MATC. He also shot 45% from the field and 31% from the perimeter.
At Mequon Homestead High School:Â
Walton graduated from Mequon Homestead High School where he played volleyball as well. There he earned honorable mention all-conference accolades and earned a spot on the WBCA All-Star team.

Born April 29th. Walton is the son of Fred and Danielle Maxson and he has two siblings, Brandon and Amya.
