Biography
2014-15: Bonner saw time in all 29 contests for the Buffs this season and made seven appearances in the starting lineup...Averaged 4.5 ppg, 18.7 minutes, 4.3 rebounds...Went 41-of-87 (.471) from the field and tallied 13 assists, 13 blocks, and 25 steals...Scored a season/career-high 17 points on 1/3/15 in a win at home over Hillsdale Baptist.
Previous School: Bonner, a 6-5 wing, comes to Canyon from Mesa Community College under the guidance of Sam Ballard, helping the Thunderbirds finish the season at 26-5. He graduated in 2014 and helped the team to Conference and Regional Championships while also being named a Scholar Athlete.
High School: The junior transfer is a Houston, Texas native that played his prep career at Fountain Hills High School in Arizona where he was an All-Division 1st Team selection for the Falcons. During his senior season, Bonner averaged 20 points, 10 rebounds, four steals and four assists per game.
Personal: Born February 24...Son of Jeff and Tina Bonner...Has three siblings, JaNae, Tremaine, and Jeff...Majoring in Exercise Science at West Texas A&M.
