At Sierra High School:
Jennings comes to Canyon following a standout prep career at Sierra High School in Colorado Springs, Colorado where the 6'1 guard was a two-time Colorado Springs Metro League (CSML) Class 4A Player of the Year. He was a 2^nd Team All-State selection as a junior and a senior while being selected for the CSML All-Star game three times. Jennings picked up 1^st Team All-Conference honors his final two seasons at Sierra High School while being selected for "The Show" All-Star Game as one of the Top-20 players in the state of Colorado.

During his time at Sierra High School, Jennings saw time in 99 games for the Stallions, averaging 14.3 points (1,413) and 4.2 rebounds (411) per contest to go along with 240 assists, 201 steals and 89 blocks. The Stallions finished the 2016-17 season with an overall record of 20-5 with a 15-1 mark in the CSML, advancing to the third round of the CHSAA Class 4A State Tournament.
