Biography

GENERAL – Davis provided the Buffaloes a solid inside presence, as well as showing shooting range from as far out as three-point range. Davis, who transferred to WT from Tennessee Tech, had reconstructive surgery during the summer of 2009.
 
2009-10 – Davis concluded the season with a 13-point performance against Tarleton State in the LSC tournament semifinals. He registered a double-double against East Central, scoring a career-high 17 points to go along with 11 rebounds and two blocks in 40 minutes of action. He later matched those 17 points to go with seven boards at Cameron. Davis posted his second double-double of the season with a 14-point, 10 rebound outing against New Mexico Highlands. He grabbed 10 rebounds to go with seven points against Abilene Christian and hit 16 points, including a pair of three pointers and 6-of-8 free throw opportunities, while grabbing five rebounds against Missouri-St. Louis and followed with a 13 point outing at Oklahoma Panhandle State. He grabbed seven rebounds and blocked two shots against Southwestern Oklahoma. Davis tallied 11 points to go with a pair of blocked shots at Angelo State and, in the season-opener at New Mexico Highlands, he canned a three-pointer from the top of the key, with 0.7 seconds remaining, to send the game into overtime.
 
AT TENNESSEE TECH – During the 2008-09 campaign, Davis averaged 6.0 points and 2.6 rebounds over 28 contests for the Golden Eagles. During that time, he averaged 16.5 minutes per outing, made 10 starting appearances, blocked 15 shots and had 12 steals, while shooting 67-for-184 (.364) from the field\ and 19-of-62 (.362) from three-point range. In 2006-07, he averaged 2.4 points and 1.5 rebounds over eight contests.
 
HIGH SCHOOL – Davis earned conference player of the year and team MVP honors while playing for coach Wayne Jensen’s Milwaukee Lutheran Red Knights. As a senior, he averaged 18 points and 6 rebounds per contest.
 
Personal – Davis is a General Studies major at WTAMU and is the son of Jacqueline and Jim Davis.
