General:Lopez returns tothe WT football program after sitting out a year.

2007: Redshirt season.

High School: Lopez was selected as first team all-District tight end as a senior while leading the Lake Worth (Texas) Bullfrogs to an 8-2 record. He was also a letterwinner in basketball, twice earning all-District honors and being named team captain as a senior. An honorable mention Academic all-State in football, he was a member of a the National Honor Society, as well as being named Who[apos]s Who Among High School Students.
