Registered a stellar prep career at Seminole High School (Texas)... He played quarterback and handled the kicking and punting duties for the Indians under head coach Greg Poynor... Helped the Indians to a 10-2 overall record as a senior... Named the Area Offensive Player of the Year as well as the District MVP on offense and on special teams... Completed 295 passes for 3,758 yards and 46 touchdowns... Carried the ball 116 times for 711 yards and eight scores... Honorable Mention All-State honoree as a junior... Also lettered in basketball for the Indians... Member of the National Honor Society...
