Eaglecrest High School: Graduated in 2018 where he played all over the field for head coach Michael Schmitt. He earned 1st Team All-State honors as a senior while also earning 1st Team All-District recognition twice. Also lettered in basketball and track & field.
 
Personal: Son of Victor Garnes and Lachelle Walker and has five siblings. Plans on majoring in sports and exercise science.
