2012: He really came into his own as a junior as he earned honorable mention all-conference honors after recording career-highs in receptions (42), receiving yards (393) and touchdowns (7).  He averaged 28.1 yards pe game as he played in 14 games with 12 starts.  His 393 yards receiving ranked fourth on the team.  He scored his first career touchdown reception against Western State in the home opener.  Hammargren had one solo tackle on the year in the NCAA Semifinal at Winston-Salem State.
2011: Hammargren followed the 2010 season with his sophomore year where he tallied 17 receptions for 188 yards as an inside receiver.  He played in 11 games with three starts.

2010: Played in 11 games with two starts as a redshirt freshman at wide receiver.  Had 19 catches for 280 yards receiving and returned a blocked punt 20 yards for a touchdown against Central Missouri in the NCAA Tournament.  recorded two assisted tackles on special teams during the year.  He had a career-best 10 catches for 160 yards at Northeastern State.

2009: Redshirted.
Aztec High School: Hammargren had a prolific career at Aztec (N.M.) HS, catching 69 passes for 1,191 yards and 22 TDs. Defensively, he registered 72 tackles and three interceptions. For his efforts he was named the 2008 District 1-4A Player of the Year, earned first-team all-District and all-District Academic honors, as well as earning first-team all-State on both offense as well as defense after helping guide the Tigers to a 12-1 record and a state runner-up finish. Hammargren earned the Tiger Award for posting the highest grade point average on the team, with a 4.25. Hammargren also earned varsity letters in track & field while at Aztec (N.M.) HS.
Personal: Born November 4, 1990.  Parents are Lorry and Alan Hammargren.  Has two siblings Kylee and Kami.  Majoring in management at WT.
