Biography

2019: Appeared in one game. 

2018: Redshirt.

2017: Saw action in five games with one rush for five yards against Texas A&M-Commerce (10/28). Also had one solo tackle against Texas A&M-Commerce.

2016: Saw action in all 11 games in the backfield. Spelled starter Devon Paye and recorded 178 yards rushing on 45 carries with two scores, while receiving 14 balls for 81 yards and a score. Also had eight kick returns for 127 yards garnering 386 all-purpose yards for the season. Had a season-high 14 carries for 50 yards at Oklahoma Panhandle State (10/15). Scored his first collegiate touchdown at UT Permian Basin (9/18). Had a receiving score at Eastern New Mexico (10/1) on two catches for 21 yards. Returned two kicks for 34 yards at Colorado State-Pueblo (9/10) for a season-high.

2015: Redshirted.

Copperas Cove High School: Helped lead his team to a 7-4 record as a senior for head coach Jack Welch.  Earned first team all-district honors.  Named Offensive MVP and earned the Dawg Bite Award.  Had 183 carries for 1,272 yards and earned All-Academic accolades.  Also competed in basketball, track and soccer. 

Personal: Born Sept. 11, 1996.  Parents are Susan Wong and Robert Canion.  Has six siblings.  Has not decided on a major at WT.
