Career Stats: Allen has played in 36 games with 16 starts. He has 108 career receptions for 1,832 yards which ranks him 10th in school history in receiving yards. He needs just 25 receptions to move into the top 10 all-time in receptions.
2012: Played in 14
with 12 starts at wide receiver. Led the team with 87 catches 1,430 yards receiving, 12 touchdowns as he averaged 102.1 yards per game and 16.4 yards per catch. His 1,430 receiving yards ranks third all-time in school history in a single season. Had six games of over 100 yards receiving, including a career-high 185 yards and three touchdowns at then No. 4 Ashland in the NCAA Tournament. Allen tallied a career-high 13 receptions in the game. He was named first team All-LSC and was named Co-Receiver of the Year. Was second team Daktronics All-Super Region Four selection and earned LSC Player of the Week honors.
He was 12th nationally in yards per game at 102.1 which also led the conference and was 33rd nationally in receptions per game hauling in 6.21 catches per game which also was the league-best.
2011: Allen became a go-to receiver for West Texas A&M during his sophomore campaign in 2011, seeing time in all 11 games for WT. Allen registered 21 catches for 303 yards and two touchdowns for an average of 27.5 yards per game and a long catch of 61 yards while also returning one punt for 12 yards. Allen also saw time on special teams as a kickoff returner, returning nine kicks for a total of 220 yards for an average of 24.4 yards. Allen was eighth on the team in scoring with 12 points as well as sixth in all-purpose yards with a total of 535 for an average of 48.6 yards per game.
2010: Allen stepped into a backup role as a redshirt freshman with the Buffs in 2010, seeing time in all 12 games. He registered seven catches for 99 yards and a long catch of 32 yards to average 8.2 yards per game.
2009: Redshirted.
Meridian High School: Allen earned district Most Valuable Player honors under Coach Larry Moorhead at Meridian (Texas) HS. He also competed in track & field, winning the Class 1A State Championship in the triple jump, with an effort of 47-11. A three-sport athlete, Allen also earned varsity letters in basketball
