Biography

GENERAL: This transfer has shown the ability to both run and catch the ball out of the spread offense and has displayed the speed to run past would-be defenders.
 
JUNIOR COLLEGE: In 2009, playing for coach Van Boschetti at Los Medanos College, the Bronx, N.Y., native ran for 1,708 yards overall and was selected as Offensive MVP of the Region II All-California junior college squad and first-team All-American. He also participated in the Triumphant Sports Junior College All-American football game, running for 177 yards on 11 carries, including a 98-yard TD jaunt in the fourth quarter that erased a 14-12 deficit for the California All-Star team in a 19-14 win over the United States’ squad. Hampton was named offensive MVP for the game. 
 
HIGH SCHOOL: Hampton was an all-Conference running back and defensive back at Lehman HS in The Bronx, N.Y.
 
MAJOR: Hampton is a Pre-Law major at WTAMU.
