West Texas A&M University Athletics

2020: Started in five games after transferring from the University of Idaho. Recorded the fourth-most tackles on the team, 40, two pass breakups, a fumble recovery, an interception and two touchdowns. He had a 87-yard interception return for a touchdown against Angelo State, the longest by a Buff since 2011. Returned a fumble 27 yards for a touchdown a week later against North American. Recorded a season-high 13 tackles in the season finale against Pittsburg State. 

University of Idaho: Signed with the Vandals in December of 2018. 
 
Scottsdale Community College: Earned 2^nd Team All-American and 1^st Team All-League honors after leading the nation in solo tackles while finishing third in total tackles. 
 
Hamilton High School: Graduated in 2017. Earned 1^st Team All-Conference honors as a senior after helping the Huskies finish 7-4.
 
Personal: Born on October 27, 1998. Son of Tabetha and Orlando Escalante. Youngest of three siblings. Plans on majoring in criminal justice at WT.
