2012: Redshirted.

McCollum High School: Played for Coach Klann and the Cowboys as he earned all-state, all-city and defensive MVP accolades.  Had 111 tackles with 15 for loss and was in the top 25 percent academically in his class.  Also competed in track for four years and earned a berth in regionals.

Personal: Born November 21, 1993.  Parents are Virginia and Rolando Gonzalez.  Has two siblings Eric and Katie.  Plans on majoring in criminal justice with a minor in sports and exercise science at WT.
