Ventura College: Named first team all-conference as a sophomore where he lead his team to a conference title and bowl game victory. He had 60 catches for 869 yards and 15 touchdowns including three rushing touchdowns. Earned honorable mention all-conference honors as a true freshman.

High School: Graduated from Timbermine High School in 2012 where he played wide receiver and running back for the Wolves. Named first team all-state during his senior season where he had 70 catches for 1,200 yards and 14 touchdowns. He was named second team all-conference as a junior. He was a four sport varsity athlete as a senior where he broke the school record for most stolen bases in a season for the Wolves baseball team.

Personal: Born on November 17, 1993. Son of Rick and Shelley Smith. Has one sibling: Ryan. Plans on majoring in business at West Texas A&M.
