Biography

2019: Finished his career appearing in nine games with five receptions for 50 yrads and a touchdown. Recorded a season-high two catches against Western New Mexico and Midwestern State. He recorded his third career touchdown pass on a 28-yard reception against Texas A&M-Commerce. 

2018: Appeared in five games for the Buffs at wide receiver where he had six receptions for 52 yards and a touchdown. After missing the early part of the season due to injury, Leonce recorded his first catch of the season at Texas A&M-Commerce on Oct. 27. He finished that game with 2 receptions for 21 yards. He picked up another catch against Texas A&M-Kingsville before finishing the season with 3 catches for 26 yards and a touchdown at MSU Texas. His first and only touchdown of the season came in the first period of overtime against the Mustangs on a 12-yard pass from Mitch Hood.

2017: Played in three games this season recording three catches for 19 yards and a long of 15.

2016: Played and started all 11 games at wide receiver and return specialist. Named honorable mention all-conference as a return specialist. Tied for second on the team in receptions with 35. Had 211 receiving yards with one score, while returning 12 punts for 200 yards with one touchdown and six kicks for 105 yards. Recorded 523 all-purpose yards which ranked third on the team. Had a season-high five catches for 31 yards at UT Permian Basin (9/18), while returning two kicks for 48 yards and five punts for 96 yards and a score against the Falcons, including a 69-yard punt return for the score.

2015: Saw action in two games with one reception for four yards in the season finale against Texas A&M-Kingsville.

2014: Redshirted.

Lee High School: Played quarterback, running back and wide receiver at Lee High School. Had over 1,000 all-purpose yards his senior year. 33 receptions for 301 yards and two touchdowns. 31 carries for 261 yards and two touchdowns.  Earned second team all-district honors as a wide receiver as a senior. Also named Team Most Valuable Player and Offensive MVP in 2013. He also excelled on the track where he was a TAAF track and field state champion in the 18U 4x100-meter relay. Was a two-tIme Junior Olympian in the 4x100-meter relay. District champion in the 4x400 and 4x200 relays. Ranked No. 3 in the state in the 4x400 relay during his senior season.
