2018: Had an impressive freshman campaign appearing in 9 games at running back where he ran for 231 yards and two touchdowns on 48 carries. Recorded his first career rushing touchdown against Texas A&M-Commerce on Oct. 27 on five carries and 29 yards. Had his best game of the season in the final game at Kimbrough Memorial Stadium against Texas A&M-Kingsville running for 73 yards on five carries including a 65-yard touchdown run in the second quarter. Had a season-high 13 carries for 30 yards against Eastern New Mexico on Oct. 20.

Samuel Clemens High School: Graduated in 2018 where he played all over the field for head coach Jared Johnston. As a senior, he earned 1^st Team All-District honors. Also lettered in track & field.
