2011: Halpin saw time in three games for the Buffs as a sophomore in 2011 as the third string quarterback. He completed 12 of 24 passes for 187 yards and three touchdowns while throwing one interception for a QB efficiency of 148.4 and an average of 62.3 yards per game. Against Texas A&M-Commerce on November 12, Halpin went 12-of-21 for 187 yards and three TD with one interception in a 49-0 victory in WT’s final home contest of the season.

2010: Halpin did not see any time on the field for the Buffs as a redshirt freshman in 2010.

2009: Redshirt season.

HIGH SCHOOL: Halpin earned first team all-district and district Most Valuable Player honors as a senior at Mesquite (Texas) HS, after passing for 2,004 yards and 17 TDs while throwing just two interceptions. A team captain for the Skeeters, he was a second team all-district pick in 2007 and was named district Newcomer of the Year in 2006. A golf and baseball letterman, as well, he was a member of the school’s honor roll.

MAJOR: Halpin is a Business Management major at West Texas A&M.
