2015 Season Stats

2015: Saw action in all 10 games with five starts in the secondary for the Buffs...Tallied 37 total tackles with 26 solo stops...Had a season-high eight tackles against Texas A&M-Commerence and ended the season with five solo stops against Texas A&M-Kingsville...Recorded first career interception for 30 yards against Eastern New Mexico...Had one tackle for loss for two yards, six pass breakups, seven passes defended, along with one fumble return against Texas A&M-Kingsville...Named to LSC Commissioner's Honor Roll.

2014: Redshirted.

LBJ High School: Dawson played all over the field as he split time between cornerback, safety, punter, quarterback and wide receiver…Played for head coach Andrew Jackson at Austin LBJ…Named first-team all-district as a free safety and quarterback…Member of the National Honor Society…Graduated in the top-10% of his class with a 4.2 GPA…Recipient of the African-American Heritage Award…Also lettered in basketball and track & field.
