GENERAL: This dependable cover man is looking to show the form displayed in 2009 before a knee injury cut short his season.
2009: Hood saw action in six contests before suffering a season-ending knee injury at Midwestern State. Up to that point, he had registered 11 tackles (six solo, five assisted), including one for minus-three yards. He had a season-best five stop outing against TAMU-Kingsville, while stringing together three tackles at
2008: Hood did not participate in football.
JUNIOR COLLEGE: Hood was a cornerback and safety at Fresno City College 2006 and 2007, recording 10 interceptions and scoring 12 TDs over a two-year period. He also set a Fresno City record by returning an interception 103 yards for a touchdown.
2005: Hood was a member of the Fresno State football program, but did not see playing time.
HIGH SCHOOL: Hood was an all-state selection as a senior cornerback at Fresno HS. He was also a three-time first team all-league pick while playing for Coach Ray Rayes’ Warriors and was invited to participate in the California vs. Florida all-star game.
MAJOR: Hood has not declared a major at WTAMU.
