2009 Season Stats
Career Stats: Has played in 39 games with 25 starts. Has 226 total tackles and 85 solo stops. Voss has recorded 30 tackles for loss for 109 yards, along with five sacks for 41 yards. He has three forced fumbles, eight quarterback hurries, nine pass breakups and one blocked kick.
2012: Played and started all 15 games. Finished second on the team in tackles with 119. Tallied 49 solo tackles. Second on the team in tackles for loss with 20.5 for 81 yards. Had four sacks for 34 yards. Led the team with six pass breakups and recorded two quarterback hurries. Led the team forcing three fumbles and blocked a kick against Western State. Had double-digit tackles three times, including 14 twice. Tallied a season-high seven solo stops twice. Earned honorable mention all-conference accolades.
2011: Voss saw time in two games for the Buffs as a junior during the 2011 season before suffering a season ending injury against Texas A&M-Kingsville at Cowboys Stadium. In his limited time, Voss registered 12 total tackles (3 solo, 9 assisted) with one quarterback hurry and one fumble recovery. He earned a medical redshirt.
2010: Voss continued to lead a strong linebacking core as a sophomore during the 2010 season. The sophomore was third on the team in tackles with 64 (20 solo, 44 assisted) with eight of those falling for a loss. Voss registered one sack, three pass breakups and four hurries on the season. For his efforts on the field, Voss was named a member of the All-Lone Star Conference Second Team.
2009: As a true freshman, Voss saw action in all 12 games, logging 33 tackles (14 solo, 19 assisted). He was also involved in 1.5 tackles for minus-2 yards in losses and forced one QB hurry. He registered a season-high eight tackles at Northeastern State (six solo, two assisted) and was in on six stops (two solo, four assisted) at Southwestern Oklahoma State.
Belton High School: As a multi-position player under Coach Rodney Southern, Voss was named defensive player of the year and earned first team all-district honors as a senior. He recorded 365 career tackles. Voss also earned first team all-district recognition as a sophomore and a junior and was newcomer of the year as a sophomore. A multi-sport athlete, Voss also earned letters in track & field, basketball, and powerlifting.
Personal: Born March 3, 1991. Parents are Karl and Trudi Voss. Has two siblings Whitney and Sean. Voss is majoring in business management major at West Texas A&M with a minor in finance.
