2021: Redshirted for the Buffs in 2021.

At Vista Ridge High School: Rated as 3-Star Recruit by 247Sports and named the Central Texas Player of the Year. Honored as the District 25-6A Most Valuable Player and First Team All-State, passing for 2,652 yards and 30 touchdowns as a senior. He passed for 3,734 yards and 41 touchdowns as a junior, leading the state in passing completion percentage in 2019 and 2020.
