2024-25:
Started all 32 games for the Lady Buffs in 2024-25, averaging 29.2 minutes per contest... Went 144-of-356 (40.4%) from the floor including 56-of-149 (37.6%) from deep and 88-of-98 (89.8%) from the free throw line to lead the team in scoring with 432 points (13.1/game)... Scored a season-best 24 points against Harding on November 3rd... Grabbed 11 rebounds against Eastern New Mexico on February 27th... Reached double-digit scoring on 23 occasions... Member of the CSC Academic All-District Team... Second Team All-Lone Star Conference honoree... 

2023-24:
Saw time in 31 games with five starts for WT during her sophomore campaign... Averaged 19.2 minutes per contest... Went 93-of-256 (36.3%) from the floor including 35-of-114 (30.7%) from deep and 53-of-56 (94.6%) from the free throw line... Grabbed 97 total rebounds (13 offensive, 83 defensive) to go along with 17 assists, 21 blocks and seven steals... Scored 274 points to average 8.8 per game... Registered a season-high 25 points against Texas A&M International (Dec. 12)... 

2022-23:
Registered a standout freshman campaign for the Lady Buffs in 2022-23... Saw time in all 32 games with seven starts... Went 57-of-189 (30.2%) from the field including 35-of-116 (30.2%) from deep and 38-of-47 (80.9%) from the charity stripe to average 5.8 points per contest to go along with 73 rebounds (15 offensive, 58 defensive), 28 assists, eight blocks and 14 steals...

At Wellington High School:
Stellar prep career at Wellington High School... Four-year starter for the Lady Skyrocket... Named the District 2-2A Most Valuable Player and a TABC All-State honoree as a senior... Averaged 19 points and six rebounds per game.... Scored over 1,800 career points at WHS... Multi-sport star is also a multi-time Class 2A Cross Country State Champion and a 1600m State Champion on the track... In the classroom, she served as a member of the National Honor Society and the WHS Student Council...

Personal:
Born October 1, 2003... Kyla is the daughter of Lance and Deidra Kane and she has three siblings: Presley, Taytym and Kaesyn... She is expected to major in Sports Medicine at WT...
