2011: McCluskey had a breakout season for the Buffs as a junior in 2011, seeing time in all 11 games. The junior was third on the team in tackles with 65 (30 solo, 35 assisted) with six of them falling for a loss while registering two sacks, three pass breakups and three quarterback hurries. The Waxahachie native also recovered one fumble for 18 yards and a touchdown against Texas A&M-Kingsville at Cowboys Stadium. McCluskey was named the LSC Defensive Player of the Week on September 19^th.

2010: McCluskey saw time in 11 of 12 games as a sophomore for the Buffs during the 2010 campaign. He registered 33 total tackles (17 solo, 16 assisted) with five of them coming behind the line of scrimmage. McCluskey registered one and a half sacks, two pass breakups and three quarterback hurries on the season. For his efforts on the field, McCluskey was named a member of the All-Lone Star Conference Honorable Mention team.

2009: McCluskey started at middle linebacker over the first three games of the season, before an arm injury ended his year. To that point, he had registered 23 tackles (10 solo, 13 assisted), including 2.5 takedowns for minus-4 yards. He had a career-high 10 stops (three solo, seven assisted) against Central Oklahoma, including 1.5 tackles for lost yardage and a pass breakup. He bagged eight tackles (5 solo, three assisted) at Central Washington and had five (two solo, three assisted) against Grand Valley State.

2008: McCluskey saw action in 11 contests a year ago at both outside linebacker as well as on kick coverage teams. For the year, he registered six tackles (four solo, two assisted), including one QB sack for minus-one yard and an additional QB hurry.

2007: Redshirt season.

HIGH SCHOOL: McCluskey was the defensive leader for Waxahachie (Texas) HS. In 2006 he was named to the Texas HS Football.com Team Texas Region II team first-team defense at linebacker. This followed a 2005 season which saw him total 135 tackles. McCluskey also saw action at fullback for the Indian’s offensive unit.

MAJOR: McCluskey is a Sports & Exercise Sciences major at West Texas A&M.
