Biography

2018: Made 10 starts at left guard as a sophomore blocking for an offense that ran for 1,405 yards including 2nd Team All-Lone Star Conference running back Duke Carter IV.

2017: Played in ten games with one start on the offensive line. Earned his first start at Texas A&M-Kingsville (10/7). Recorded one assisted tackle against Texas A&M-Commerce (10/28).

2016: Redshirted.

High School: Graduated from Coronado High School in 2016 where he played on the offensive and defensive line for the Mustangs. He was named second team all-district as a right guard as a senior. He also lettered in power lifting.

Personal: Born on August 18, 1998. Son of Dave and Kaylynn Smith. Has three siblings. Plans on majoring in film at West Texas A&M.
