West Texas A&M University Athletics

2018: Appeared in all 11 games during his senior season accumulating 14 tackles (10 solo, 4 assisted), 1 tackle for loss, 1 sack and 2 interceptions. Intercepted 2 passes in WT’s 42-7 win over Oklahoma Panhandle State including a 20-yard pick six near the end of the second quarter. Recorded a season-high four tackles against Tarleton on Sept. 15. Recorded his first career sack and tackle for loss at Central Washington.

2017: Played in 11 games with six starts at defensive back. Recorded 35 tackles on the year with 29 solo stops. Had three pass breakups. Tallied a season-high six tackles three times, with the last being in the regular season finale against Western New Mexico (11/11) with a season-high six solo stops.

Ventura College: Played two years at Ventura College. Went 8-2 and a league championship while winning a bowl game.  Earned Academic All-Conference.

Bakersfield Christian High School: Went 11-3, winning the conference title and playing for a state title ... Earned all-area and all-league honors. Named to academic honor roll. Also competed in basketball and baseball earning three letters.

Personal: Born Dec. 28, 1999 . Parents are Angelique McGruder and Keith Blank. Has two siblings. Plans on majoring in communications at WT.
