Tyler Junior College: Attended Tyler Junior College as a sophomore before trasferring to WT this season.

Baylor: Dressed for nine games but did not see any game action in 2011 as a redshirt freshman... Sat out spring 2011 drills recovering from ankle injury.  Signed with Baylor out of high school as a three-star athlete in 2010 and redshirted.

Sulphur Springs High School: All-state defensive lineman from Sulphur Springs (Texas) High School... Played for head coach Greg Owens at SSHS... Rated the 107th recruit in Texas by Scout.com... National position ranking among defensive ends: No. 75 by Scout.com and No. 104 by ESPN.com... Listed the No. 6 defensive end prospect in Texas by Dave Campbell's Texas Football... Led Sulphur Springs to 10-4 record, 4A DII state quarterfinals and No. 16 final ranking as senior in 2009... Earned 2009 all-state honors (Class 4A first-team by TheOldCoach.com, Class 4A second-team by Associated Press) after totaling 82 tackles, 18 tackles-for-loss, 12 sacks and 30 QB pressures...
