2019: Appeared in 10 games at linebacker recording 49 tackles (19 solo, 30 assisted), 2.5 tackles for loss, two QB hurries and one interception. Recorded a season-high 12 tackles (3 solo, 9 assisted) against Western New Mexico. Also recorded his second career interception at UT Permian Basin. 

2018: Played a significant role at linebacker as a redshirt freshman recording 65 tackles (35 solo, 30 assisted), 3.0 tackles for loss and interception. Recorded a season-high 11 tackles (7 solo, 4 assisted) against Eastern New Mexico on Oct. 20. Also recorded a tackle for loss against the Greyhounds with additional tackles for loss against UT Permian Basin and Texas A&M-Commerce. Recorded his first career interception in the season finale against MSU Texas helping the Buffs overcome a 10-point second half deficit to force overtime.

2017: Redshirted.

Midland Senior High School: Was named MSHS inside linebacker of the year in 2016 finishing the year with 107 tackles, 74 solo tackles, nine tackles for loss and four sack. He earned 2nd team all-district as a senior after leading the Bulldogs Bi-District and Area Championships. Also played basketball for the Bulldogs.

Personal: Born Mar. 1, 1999. Mother is Adena Barron.  Plans on majoring in engineering with a sports medicine minor at WT.
