Biography

GENERAL: After transferring to the WT football program a year ago, Ioane has become a mainstay in the Buffs[apos] offensive line. 2008: Ioane saw action in 10 contests, making three starting appearances (at Mesa State, at Central Oklahoma, vs. Southwestern Oklahoma) at offensive guard.

JUNIOR COLLEGE: As a sophomore at Santa Ana (Calif) JC, Ioane helped the Dons to a 7-4 mark, finishing second in their conference and a post-season bowl bid. Ioane[apos]s season was limited to seven games due to a knee injury. In 2006, he earned all-Conference honors while playing at Orange Coast Community College.

HIGH SCHOOL: Ioane was a four-time Division 6 all-CIF (California Interscholastic Federation) honoree while an offensive and defensive lineman at Tustin (Calif.) HS.

MAJOR: Ioane is a General Studies major at WTAMU.
