2014 Season Stats

Career Stats:  Has played in 38 games with 13 starts.  Has 115 receptions for 1,284 yards and nine touchdowns.  Tallied 16 carries for 48 yards.  Rhone has returned 28 kicks for 735 yards in his three seasons.

2014: Played in nine games with five starts at wide receiver.  Recorded 27 catches for 362 yards and two touchdowns on the year.  Averaged 13.4 yards per catch and 40.2 yards per game.  Had a season-high 80 yards receiving on four catches with a season-best 56-yarder for a score in the season finale at Eastern New Mexico (Nov. 15).  Finished the season with 10 catches for 154 yards in the last two games of the year.  Had two kick returns for 22 yards with a long of 17.  Tallied 386 all-purpose yards for the season.  Recorded one rush for two yards in the season-opener at CSU-Pueblo. 

2013: Played in all 14 games at wide receiver in his sophomore season.  Was fifth on the team in receiving yards with 371 yards on 37 receptions for an average of 10.0 yards per reception.  He caught four touchdowns and averaged 26.5 yards per game receiving.  Also had nine rushes for 31 yards on the year.  Tallied 14 kick returns for 353 yards which was good for second on the team.  Ranked fifth in all-purpose yards with 755 for an average of 53.9 per game.  Scored a season-high two touchdowns at McMurry on three catches.  Had a season-high six receptions against Central State and a season-high 66 receiving yards against Eastern New Mexico.  Tallied a season-high 134 kick return yards against Angelo State on four returns.  Tallied two solo tackles on the year.

2012: Played in 15 games and had eight starts as a redshirt freshman.  Finished third on the team in receiving with 51 catches for 551 yards and he had three touchdowns.  Rhone averaged 36.7 yards per game and 10.8 yards per catch.  He also had six rushes for 15 yards on the year.  He had his best game with nine catches for 106 yards and a touchdown - his first collegiate score against Abilene Christian.  Rhone had a season-high 10 catches at West Georgia. He also had 12 kick returns for 360 yards and a long of 79 for the year. 

2011: Redshirted.

Silsbee High School: Rhone graduated from Silsbee HS (Texas) in 2011, playing multiple skill positions for the Tigers under the guidance of head coach Bobby McGallion. Rhone led the Tigers to the Texas Class 3A State Playoffs as a senior, picking up 1^st Team All-District accolades on both sides of the ball. He also lettered in track and basketball at SHS.

Personal: Born November 8, 1992. Parents are Wathena Rhone and Hurtis Washington. Has not decided on a major at WT.
