High School: Graduated from Ft. Bend Elkins High School in 2016 where he played on both the offensive and defensive side of the ball for the Knights. He was named first team all-district as a senior with 35 tackles, seven pass deflections and two forced fumbles. He also lettered two years in track & field.

Personal: Born on January 23, 1998. Son of Paula Ellis, Victor Shirley and stepmother Eugenia Shirley. Has two siblings: Oneal and Jayda. Plans on majoring in engineering at West Texas A&M.
