HIGH SCHOOL: Maddox was a second team all-District 28-5A selection as a senior at San Antonio (Texas) J.P. Stevens HS. Coached by Lee Bridges, he played on both sides of the line to help guide the Falcons to a 7-4 mark in 2008. A two-sport athlete, Maddox also lettered in baseball.

PERSONAL: Maddox is the son of Jay and Lisa Maddox.
