2014 Season Stats

Career: Played in 37 games thus far with 51 total tackles and 16 solo stops.  Has 6.5 tackles for loss for 24 yards, along with four quarterback hurries, one sack and one fumble recovery. 

2014:  Played in nine games with two starts.  Tallied 16 total tackles with three solo stops.  Recorded 2.5 tackles for loss for six yards.  Had one quarterback hurry.  Tallied a season-high six total tackles against Tarleton State (Sept. 13). 

2013: Played in 13 games as a sophomore for the Buffs.  Had 13 total tackles with four solo stops, along with 1.5 tackles for loss for two yards.  Had one quarterback hurry and one fumble recovery against Texas A&M-Kingsville.  Had three kick returns for 29 yards, including one for 24 yards against Angelo State.  Tallied a season-high three total tackles twice against McMurry and Central State. 

2012: Saw action in all 15 games as a redshirt freshman.  Tallied 22 total tackles with nine solo stops.  Had 2.5 tackles for loss for 16 yards and one sack for 12 yards.  Recorded two quarterback hurries and one pass breakup.  Had his best game with four total tackles and two solo stops at Incarnate Word with 1.5 tackles for loss and a sack for 12 yards. 

2011: Redshirted.

John Marshall High School: Played for head coach Alan Witte.  Earned first team all-district honors and was named Defensive Line Player of the Year.  Was a member of National Honor Society and the Math Club.

Personal: Born February 1, 1993.  Parents are Rudy and Susan Laguna.  Plans on majoring in sports and exercise science with a minor in math at WT.
