Fossil Ridge High School: Was a three-year letterwinner for head coach Tony Baccarini. Recorded 61 tackles, 16 tackles for loss and three sacks during his senior season leading the Panthers to a district championship and perfect 10-0 record. Also lettered in baseball.
 
Personal: Born on January 29, 2000. Son of Jim and Pam Fernandez. Has two siblings. Plans on majoring in communications at WT.
