Texas State: Redshirted his only season under head coach Jake Spavital.
 
Lamesa High School: Graduated in 2019. Earned 2nd Team All-District honors as a quarterback and punter as a senior. Tallied over 2,100 total yards and 35 touchdowns. As a junior, he recorded over 1,800 yards and 25 touchdowns. Was also an all-district performer in basketball and baseball. Member of National Honor Society. 
 
Personal: Born on March 7, 2000. Son of Jana and Joel Napper. Has three siblings. Plans on majoring in sports and exercise science.
