GENERAL: Having spent the past year rehabbing a knee injury, Rodriguez looks forward to a full 2010 season spent as the Buffs’ center.
2009: Rodriguez entered the season as WT’s starting center, but received a medical hardship after suffering a season-ending knee injury in just the second game of the season (Central Oklahoma).
2008: Serving primarily in a back-up role at center, Rodriguez earned five starting appearances (Azusa Pacific, Southwestern Oklahoma, at Texas A&M-Kingsville, at Eastern New Mexico, Abilene Christian).
2007: Rodriguez saw action in 10 contests at guard as well as at center, both as a reserve as well as earning starting assignments against Angelo State, Central Oklahoma, at Tarleton State and at Northwest Missouri State.
2006: Redshirt season.
HIGH SCHOOL: Rodriguez was a two-year letterman as an offensive lineman at San Antonio (Texas) Lee HS. He was named as the Rebel’s Lineman of the Year and played in the San Antonio All-Star game. For his senior season, he averaged 4.5 pancakes per game. He also participated in basketball, wrestling and track & field.
MAJOR: Rodriguez is a Sports & Exercise Sciences major at WTAMU.
