GENERAL: This powerfully-built inside linebacker will be vying for more playing time in 2009.

2008: Small saw duty in four contests (against Azusa Pacific, Southwestern Oklahoma, Northeastern State and Tarleton State). For the season, he registered four tackles (two solo, two assisted). He posted a season-high two stops against Northeastern State and had one takedown against SWOSU, NSU and Tarleton State.

2007: Small saw action in one contest, that coming in the Buffs[apos] homecoming contest against Eastern New Mexico. That game saw him register a solo stop. 2006: Redshirt season.

HIGH SCHOOL: A 2006 graduate of Mineral Wells (Texas) HS, Small started as a sophomore for the Rams. He was named all-District 8-4A after both his junior and senior campaigns. Small played on both sides of the ball as a running back and outside linebacker position. He also lettered in baseball for three years, earning honorable mention accolades.

MAJOR: Small is a Management major at WTAMU.
