Saw time in six games for the Buffs in 2023... Registered nine total tackles (five solo) to go along with a fumble recovery against Midwestern State (Sept. 16)... Season-high three tackles on the road at Western Colorado (Sept. 2)... 

2022:
Appeared in all 11 games in the secondary for the Buffaloes during the 2022 campaign... Registered 37 total tackles (29 solo, eight assisted) with 2.5 of those coming for a loss to go along with one interception and three forced fumbles... Tallied a season-high six tackles against Midwestern State and Western New Mexico...

2021:
Saw time in all 11 games for the Buffaloes in 2021, finishing the season with 39 total tackles (23 solo, 16 assisted) with 0.5 of those coming for a loss to go along with one interception and one pass breakup... Registered a season-high nine tackles against Colorado School of Mines...

2020: 
Appeared in five games including two starts as a true freshman... Finished the season with 23 tackles and 0.5 tackle for loss... Recorded a season-high seven tackles in WT’s win over Angelo State on Oct. 24... Also had six tackles against Stephen F. Austin... 

Sherman High School: 
Graduated in 2020... Smith was named the Texas 5A Division I-7 Defensive Player of the Year as a senior after recording 90 tackles, three interceptions... He also played wide receiver for the Bearcats recording 232 yards and one touchdown on 10 receptions... Earned 2^nd Team All-District honors as a junior... Also lettered in basketball and track & field... Member of National Honor Society and Circle of Success...
