2022: Saw time in eight games in the secondary for the Buffaloes during the 2022 campaign. Registered 13 total tackles (nine solo, four assisted) with one of those coming for a loss to go along with one interception. Tallied a season-high three tackles with an interception against Midwestern State on October 8th.

At Itasca Community College: First Team All-American and State Champion at Itasca Community College in Grand Rapids, Minnesota. Picked up First Team All-Region and First Team All-Conference honors for the Vikings under head coach Weldon Braxton.

At Lincoln High School: First Team All-District performer for the Trojans under head coach Yusuf Shakir at Lincoln High School, helping the team to a District Championship during his senior season.

Personal: Born March 26, 1999. Son of Freddie and Hope Simmons and he has one sibling, La'shamerica. Majoring in Sports & Exercise Science at WT.
