2019: Honang was one of the top linebackers in the region where he ranked in the Top 25 in the nation in forced fumbles and tackles. He finished his senior campaign with 114 tackles (48 solo, 66 assisted), 11.0 tackles for loss, 3.0 sacks along with 7 pass breakups and three QB hurries. His five forced fumbles were the third-most in NCAA DII. He recorded 10 or more tackles in six games including a career-high 16 in a 14-10 win over UT Permian Basin Oct. 12. 

2018: Appeared in all 11 games making 3 starts where he recorded 67 tackles (41 solo, 26 assisted) with 10.5 tackles for loss, 1.5 sacks, 1 forced fumble and blocked punt. Had three games with 10-plus tackles including a season-high 13 in the Wagon Wheel Game against Eastern New Mexico on Oct. 20 to go along with a blocked punt. Also had 11 tackles at Angelo State and 10 tackles at MSU Texas. Had a season-high 3.5 tackles for loss in a win over Western New Mexico on Sept. 22. Recorded a sack against Western New Mexico and 0.5 sack against ENMU.

2017: Played in eight games with four starts at defensive back. Recorded 33 tackles with 30 solo stops. Had one tackle for loss for 12 yards, along with two forced fumbles to tie for the team-lead. Recorded a season-high nine tackles and eight solo stops at Angelo State (11/4). Had eight solo tackles and a tackle for loss against Adams State (10/14) and two forced fumbles.

2016: Played in 10 games with two starts as a freshman in the defensive backfield. Tallied 22 tackles with 18 solo stops. Had three tackles for loss for 17 yards and one sack for 13 yards, along with one fumble return and two breakups. Recorded a season-high 12 total tackles with nine solo stops at Eastern New Mexico (10/1). In that game had two tackles for loss and one sack, along with the fumble return.

High School: Graduated from Saginaw High School in 2016 where he played wide receiver and safety under head coach Mike Peters. He was named first team all-state as a safety as a senior while earning second team honors as a junior. He also lettered in track & field and soccer.

Personal: Born on August 13, 1998. Son of Flaubert and Florence Honang. Has five siblings. Plans on majoring in engineering at West Texas A&M.
