Career: Played in 31 games with eight starts. Has 40 solo tackles with 67 total stops. He has 0.5 tackles for loss for two yards, two interceptions for 61 yards, one quarterback hurry and nine pass breakups.
2012: Saw action in 11 games with eight starts. Had 19 solo tackles and 32 total tackles, along with two pass breakups. Had one reception for -3 yards at Winston-Salem State in the NCAA Semifinal. Had a season-high four solo stops and six total tackles in the season-opener at then-No. 1 Colorado State-Pueblo. Earned honorable mention all-conference honors.
2011: Morrison stepped into an injury plagued secondary for the Buffs as a sophomore in 2011, seeing time in 10 games. He tallied 25 tackles (14 solo, 11 assisted) including 3.5 falling behind the line of scrimmage. The Dallas native also registered six pass breakups and tallied a 46 yard interception return against Eastern New Mexico as the Buffs claimed the Wagon Wheel once again from ENMU.
2010: Morrison saw time in 10 games for West Texas A&M during the 2010 campaign as a redshirt freshman. He tallied 10 total tackles (7 solo, 3 assisted) while also registering one pass breakup and a quarterback hurry to go along with one interception returned for 15 yards.
2009: Redshirted.
Lincoln High School: Morrison was a two-time second team all-District 12-4A selection wile at Dallas (Texas) Lincoln HS. Playing for Coach Tyson Garner’s Tigers, Morrison earned Newcomer of the Year honors as a sophomore in 2006. A regional finalist in track & field, he also was a member of the school’s honor roll for three-consecutive years.
