2019: Was the Buffs leading rusher for the second straight season after rushing for 651 yards and five touchdowns on 156 carries. He also recorded 11 receptions for 42 yards including a long of 16 against Texas A&M-Kingsville. He ran for over 100 yards twice including a season-high 106 against Western New Mexico where he also scored twice. Had a season-high 23 carries for 87 yards and a score against Central Washington. Had a season-high three receptions for 24 yards in WT’s come-from-behind win over UT Permian Basin. 

2018: All-Lone Star Conference 2nd Team. Started in eight games before suffering a season-ending injury in the Wagon Wheel Game against Eastern New Mexico on Oct. 20. Rushed for a team-high 818 yards and 8 touchdowns on 185 carries along with 11 receptions for 88 yards and a touchdown. Rushed for 100-plus in three consecutive games including a 259-yard performance against Central Washington. Earned LSC Offensive Player of the Week for his efforts against CWU. Had a career performance against UT Permian Basin rushing for 4 touchdowns and 143 yards on 29 carries. Had a season-long 48 yard reception against Oklahoma Panhandle State on Sept. 8.

UL Monroe: Spent two seasons as a Warhawk where he rushed for 344 yards on 102 attempts with one touchdown. Had a career-high 281 yards on 85 attempts as a freshman in 2016 including a 104-yard performance against Texas State.
 
Lake Ridge High School: Was a four-year letterwinner for head coach Kirk Thor. Was rated as a two-star recruit by 247Sports, Rivals and Scout. Rated as the 56th best All-Purpose Back by 247Sports. Was named the District Offensive MVP as well as earning 1st Team All-District honors. Finished his prep career with 2,030 rushing yards and 254 carries with 37 rushing touchdowns.
 
Personal: Born on October 11, 1997. Son of Duke and Shirley Carter. Has two siblings. Plans on majoring in sports and exercise science at WT.
