Has played in 21 games with eight starts on the offensive line and at receiver/tight end...Has four catches for 101 yards and a long of 38 coming against Eastern New Mexico in 2015.

2016: Played and started all 11 games on the offensive line ... Named CoSIDA/Capital One First Team Academic All-America ... Named to LSC Commissioners Honor Roll and Academic All-Lone Star Conference ... Nominated for Allstate Good Works Team ... Nominated for National Football Foundation Scholar-Athlete Award.

2015: Saw action in all 10 games with three starts at both offensive line and receiver...Had four catches for 101 yards on the year...Recorded a career-best three catches for 63 yards at Oklahoma Panhandle State...Had a long catch of 38 yards against Eastern New Mexico...Named to LSC Academic All-Conference Team and was a member of the LSC Commissioners Honor Roll.

2014: Played in 11 games with five starts on the offensive line.  Also lined up at tight end sometimes for the Buffs.

2013: Redshirted.

Calallen High School: Younger brother of former WT quarterback Dustin Vaughan.  Helped lead his team to the Bi-District championship with a 9-3 record for head coach Phil Danaher.  Had two state semifinal appearances.  Named to All-South Texas Team.  Was a first team all-district selection.  Academic honorable mention honors and earned second team All-South Texas accolades as a junior.  Named CITGO/Caller Times Student-Athlete and Flint Hills Academic Athlete.

Personal: Born December 6, 1994.  Parents are Scott and Gina Vaughan.  Has one sibling Dustin who was the most prolific quarterback in WT history and plays with the Pittsburgh Steelers.  Plans on majoring in biology at WT.
