GENERAL: Another CenTex native, Gorton has the physical attributes to become another in the long list of talented offensive linemen at WT.
 
2009: Redshirt season.
 
HIGH SCHOOL: Gorton earned first-team all District 7-3A honors as a senior at China Spring (Texas) HS. An honorable mention all state selection while playing for Coach Mark Bell, Gorton also earned all-academic honors, as well. A basketball and track & field letterwinner, Gorton is the son of Randal and Debra Gorton.
 
MAJOR: Gorton is a Management major at WTAMU.
