Rashad Sanders

Rashad Sanders takes over the outside linebacker duties in 2013 after serving as a coach on the Buffs’ highly touted defensive line in 2012. 

Under Sanders’ guidence, defensive end Ethan Westbrooks tallied a school single-season record of 19.5 sacks in his first season in a WT uniform, while earning LSC Defensive Player of the Year honors, Daktronics National Defensive Player of the Year accolades and was a first team All-American.
 
Sanders, a Flower Mound, Texas, native was an all-Lone Star Conference performer for the Buffs as a junior in 2010, while helping the team to the conference title in 2007 and 2008.

He received his bachelor’s degree in sports and exercise science from WT in December of 2010.
