Devan Demas enters his first season as a Graduate Assistant for the Buffaloes where he works with the running backs.
The Houston, Texas native registered a standout collegiate career at Boise State where he saw time in 35 games for the Broncos, rushing for four touchdowns and 401 yards on 69 attempts to average 5.8 per carry. On special teams, he tallied nine total tackles (five solo, four assisted) while finishing with 414 all-purpose yards as the Broncos made an appearance in four bowl games during his career including a 38-30 victory over Arizona in the 2014 Fiesta Bowl.
Demas was a three-year letterwinner for head coach Greg McCaig at Cypress Creek High School. As a junior, he was named to the Touchdown Club All-Greater Houston Preseason squad, accumulating 2,114 all-purpose yards and 26 total touchdowns. During his senior season, Devan was a Second Team All-District honoree, picking up 901 all-purpose yards and 10 touchdowns in just five games.
