Cory Crawford begins his second year as a student assistant coach for the Buffs. He played football at Amarillo High School, graduating in 2011. While there, he earned all-district honors as an offensive lineman.
Crawford played one season for the Buffs in 2011 as a defensive lineman and was a student assistant for the Buffs in 2012 and 2013 as the team garnered new heights with a NCAA Division II national semifinal appearance in 2012 and a regional final berth in 2013. He returned to the WT football staff as a student assistant in 2017 working with the defensive line under new head coach Hunter Hughes.
He will also work with the defensive line in 2018.
