Bryan Jones comes to West Texas A&M from Iowa Western Community College in Council Bluffs, Iowa.  There, he helped lead the Reivers to a 10-2 record overall and a GraphicEdge Bowl Championship last season.  Jones coached the running backs and was the strength and conditioning coordinator in his one season at Iowa Western.  He helped lead three of his running backs to Division I schools at Marshall, Iowa State and University of Northern Iowa.
    
Prior to Iowa Western, Jones coached at East Texas Baptist in 2014-15 where he was the offensive quality control (offensive line) in Marshall, Texas.  There, he helped lead the team as it ranked first nationally in NCAA Division III in total passing offense (386.1 ypg), second in total offense (566.1 ypg), and 11th in scoring offense at 42.3 points per game.
    
Jones graduated from Mary Hardin-Baylor in 2014 with a bachelor's degree in sports and exercise science and a minor in education.  
    
He played four years for UMHB where he lettered two years on the offensive line.  He was a four time American Southwest Conference champion, helped lead the team to four NCAA playoff appearances, including a national semifinal appearance in 2012.  
    
A Boerne, Texas, native, played offensive line at Boerne High School where he earned all-district honors as a senior and was a three-time letterwinner.
