Ben James is in his first season as part of the West Texas A&M Football coaching staff, working as a graduate assistant specializing in the offensive line.
James registered a standout collegiate career at Colorado School of Mines. The Little Rock, Arkansas product received a M.S. in Engineering & Technology Management in December 2025 as he was a Second Team All-RMAC selection during his senior campaign. He appeared in 30 games with 20 starts on the offensive line during his time in Golden highlighted by an appearance in the 2023 NCAA Division II National Championship game.
