Brenham High School: McBride graduated from Brenham HS (Texas) in 2011, playing defensive end and linebacker for the Cubs under head coach Glen West. He helped the Cubs to a 10-1 overall record as a senior and picked up All-State accolades at defensive end as a junior.

Personal: Born November 9, 1992.  Parents are Anthony and Tammy McBride.  Has five siblings Kennedi, Tierra, Deandra, Courtane and McKenzie.  McBride is majoring in plant science at West Texas A&M.
