GENERAL: This hard-hitting linebacker was a regular in the Buffs[apos] rotation at linebacker as a true freshman a year ago. This season, he[apos]ll be looking to move into a starting role and be a leader for the defensive unit.

2008: Brown saw action in all 13 games as a true freshman, logging 15 total tackles (five solo, 10 assisted). He registered a season-high four stops against Azusa Pacific and had three takedowns at Mesa State as well as against Northeastern State, against whom he also recovered a fumble.

HIGH SCHOOL: An outstanding three-sport athlete from Amarillo (Texas) Palo Duro HS, Brown was a two-time all-district honoree, garnering unanimous first-team honors in both 2006 and 2007. He was also a member of the Amarillo Globe News Super Team in both 2006 and 2007. Brown also participated in basketball as well as track & field, where he was a regional qualifier in both the long jump and triple jump. Brown was also a member of Palo Duro HS sprint relay team.

MAJOR: Brown is majoring in Engineering Technology at WTAMU.
